Getting Started
You can start in two ways:
1. Prompt Bubbles: Tap any floating bubble on the start screen to auto-fill a thought, then tap the arrow to edit.
2. Direct Entry: Tap the "+" button on the record list page to start a new entry from scratch.
No, it is optional. If you don't have a code, simply choose "Direct Registration". Invite codes are for invited users to receive specific rewards upon joining.
Beans & Media
Beans are used when adding media to your records:
• 2 Beans per photo added.
• 5 Beans per video added.
You can check your balance and purchase more in the Settings menu.
Please check the following:
1. Permissions: Ensure Hoyodo has access to your Camera and Photos in your system settings.
2. Balance: Verify you have enough Beans for the upload.
3. Network: A stable internet connection is required for syncing media to the server.
Account & Settings
By enabling "Launch directly into my records" in Settings, the app will skip the prompt screen and open the editor immediately upon startup. This is ideal for users who want to capture thoughts instantly.
Go to Settings and select "Reset Login Password". You will need to enter your old password and then set a new one. For security, you will be logged out and must sign in again with your new credentials.
FAQ
This happens if "Launch directly into my records" is enabled. Go to Settings and toggle this option off to return to the standard startup flow.
